So loving these warm evenings! After dinner Lonnie headed to his softball game (he plays on the mens team at church) and the girls and I met Michelle and Tori for a bike ride around the loop. There is one part of the ride that Aubrey has to pedal and use her brakes. The other night when we went she took forever to get down "the big hill" and even cried a little bit because she was scared. Tonight went much better. She took it slow but made it down with no problems. Each summer our walks change a bit. A few years ago Michelle and I each had a double stroller for the girls and then each summer one of the girls would start riding their bike or walking and now we don't have any strollers and are chasing them on their bikes. We got a good walk in though!
I know this doesn't look like a very big hill but....ya know.

It really was a good walk. If we keep this up we will get our workout for the day. It is nice change to be out for a walk instead of watching softball.
Way to go AUBREY!!! Those hills are hard no matter how "big" they are! That concept of pedaling and braking is still coming to us too. We haven't been out on the bike in a while, but we also aren't having any "warm" evenings either! *wink*
Papa Pat said good to see Aubrey on her bike, and doing sooooo good at swimming lessons? Did Alyssa get the item we bought in VA for Jersey? It is a bit warm, but figured we would see a pic.

Way to go Aubrey. Keeping up with the bigger girls is a big job.
