All of this on the 19th!

We started out yesterday morning (though that sounds like a long time ago) with snow. School was canceled and the seven dozen doughnut holes I had ordered for Alyssa's class were now going to work with Lonnie. The girls played in the snow for awhile but once Aubrey's feet got cold she was done. After a long hot bath the girls fixed their own hair. You can see what a nice job Aubrey did in the picture below. The snow continued for awhile but seemed to let up in the early afternoon. Yay!

We had her friends party on Friday evening. Thirteen little girls made gingerbread houses, ate lots of candy, cake and ice cream, played musical chairs, and even made a conga line. The sugar high was in full swing when they were all running through the house with their conga line. Aubrey in the lead of course! The gingerbread houses were lots of fun and I was so thankful to have a lot of adult help with the project...thank you to all of you! The evening turned out great and the roads were clear so everyone could make it home safely.

It has been a busy couple of days and I haven't even started on today's photos....maybe that will be tomorrows project.
